  • About this Project

cellphoneSketchpad started several years ago as an extension to real-time sketchbook drawing in the field (...or on subway trains in nyc).

Less about photography - more about story and capturing ideas quickly in real time - a digital pen on a virtual cocktail napkin.

This blog is a work in progress - updated daily. Comments, ideas, suggestions, and submissions welcome.

    Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Erik Lieber says:

This whole image is terrific. From the idea all the way to the composition. I love the way the sign fits right in as a panel in the windows behind. The clouds in the reflections are great.

  2. thanks for pointing out the cloud detail – kinda missed that as I was more focused (no pun intended) on the concept. I like the idea that the clouds moving horizontally could represent a moment (or 15 moments) in time.
