  • About this Project

cellphoneSketchpad started several years ago as an extension to real-time sketchbook drawing in the field (...or on subway trains in nyc).

Less about photography - more about story and capturing ideas quickly in real time - a digital pen on a virtual cocktail napkin.

This blog is a work in progress - updated daily. Comments, ideas, suggestions, and submissions welcome.

    Thanks for stopping by.

ah… the sweet smell of gunning down your worst and most wanted enemy

this killing brought to you by sex and a ferocious lust

Good TO be or NOT to be this Bvlgary banner ad? Should there be exception rules that make the event more important than who sponsored it? What if the ‘your ad here’ box could be turned off for one day?

Ok then, now back to our regularly scheduled programming…

  1. I’m thinking that ad space was purchased weeks, maybe even months in advance before the event but yes, would be nice if they gave people option to opt out of such a headline.

  2. oh I’m certain it was, Sarah – just got me thinking how nothing is sacred – no exception rule that suggests that this event warranted a different kind of treatment. Blackout on ads day or something. What would happen if we stopped bombarding people with messages and data so they could just be? just reflect? just feel?

    just curious…
