  1. Nice! The SE/30 was my first mac. It was a hand-me-down from my father. It had 4MB of RAM and a 40MB (*that’s an M*) hard drive. I later upgraded it to 20MB RAM and added an external 80MB hard drive, and an external *color* monitor.

  2. full disclosure – picked this baby up at the Freeport, Maine transfer station… er… dump! Plugged it in switched it on – AND it worked!!! – that is… the monitor came on, a cursor, an icon of a diskette and an intermittent question mark. Any chance you still have the start-up disk? I guess, fish tank is the other option… thanks for posting a comment.
